Obviously, shopping has to be our first reason. New York is known globally for its shopping. Home to the luxury jewellery retailer Tiffany & Co, New York boasts a string of designer shops including Valentino, Prada, Céline, Armani, and Alexander McQueen. 2. Street Food
As well as highly rated Michelin-starred restaurants, New York is well known for its vast array of street food vendors. You can expect to find the streets lined with stereo typical bagel and hot dog vendors, along with some more not-so-stereotypical stands including, Mexican, Indian, and Korean.

The iconic copper statue is a definite must see when visiting New York. Gifted to the US by France back in 1886, the statue represents America’s Independence Day.

A visit to one of the world’s most famous parks is a definite must do when in New York! Featuring in well-known films including, Home Alone 2, Spiderman 3, The Smurfs, Elf, and Night in the Museum, the park offers activities for all ages, and is certainly a nice break from the city’s hustle and bustle.

A city brimming with history, art, and culture, New York has a broad selection of fascinating museums to keep you amused for hours, including the American Museum of Natural History, and the Museum of Modern Art.
