Our Direct Travel or AllSafe policies include cover for cabin confinement, “if a doctor on board your cruise ship advises you, individually and personally, not to leave your cabin because of an injury or illness during your trip.”
This is also covered under the Fit2Travel policies, if “during your cruise, you were confined to your cabin on medical advice, or admitted to the ship’s hospital for emergency and necessary medical treatment.”
We can confirm that for Freespirit and Goodtogo policies, cruise cover is included as standard, and an additional premium would not need to be paid in order to be covered to travel on a cruise. This means that the cover you have for being on a cruise is included under each applicable section in your Policy Wording, and you will need to check that you are adequately covered for the cruise cover you require.
