Heathrow Airport has issued a warning to travellers, as Storm Doris causes travel havoc across Britain today.
Many flights have been delayed or cancelled by the London Airport this morning, following gale forces and heavy rain.
Flights to Cologne, Belfast, Geneva and Helsinki have been delayed, and flights to Munich, Oslo and Dusseldorf are just some of the flights which have been cancelled, due to the battering weather conditions.
Issuing a statement on their Twitter account, Heathrow warned travellers:
“Due to strong winds forecast for across the UK tomorrow (Feb 23), we will be operating with a reduced flight schedule. This measure has been taken to ensure the safety of our passengers and colleagues, which remains our utmost priority.
“Please check your flight status with your airline prior to travelling to the airport…”
Doris is now the fourth storm of the season to hit the UK, following Storms Conor and Barbara back in December, and Storm Angus in November 2016.
