Under most circumstances, we are able to extend a Single Trip policy while you are abroad. This would need to be done before your policy is due to expire, and given that you are not intending to submit a claim.
This can be useful if you are travelling abroad for an indeterminate amount of time, however Single Trip policies do have maximum trip duration limits, so we cannot provide cover indefinitely.
If you have an Annual Multi-Trip policy, we can extend your trip duration depending on your insurer. The following limits apply for each underwriter:
Direct Travel or Allsafe (Allianz) - 90 days maximum
Fit2Travel (Arch) - 60 days maximum
Freespirit (Canopius) - 45 days maximum
Goodtogo (Red Sands) - 31 days
